Well, these pics are from last year, but, hey, they get me in the "Fall Mood"--and one living in the Valley of the Sun must do whatever one can to start feeling like Fall is here (we still have 80-90 temps, for cryin' out loud)! So here we are--the "Fishers in Fall" (pics courtesy of uncle Seth and Grandma Allred's backyard :~)

Matt & Mik's Get Away
Really this should be titled, Scott and Milena's Wedding Party, but Emma started it for me (she's more on top of this blogging stuff than I am and loves this kind of thing) and so there it is. Matt and I did get out of town for a few days and flew to Indiana for his nephew's wedding reception. It was absolutely beautiful! Scott and Milena's wedding took place in Milena's hometown of Salvador, Brasil last July. We were sorry to have missed the wedding ceremony, but so glad to be a part of the festivities in Bloomington, IN late Sept. The Wedding Party took place at a gorgeous country manor, Deer Park and the weather could not have been nicer. The food was scrumptious, the company as pleasant as could be and a great time was had by all...and I got great ideas for the next house we'll build (I LOVED Deer Park manor) :~)
Before we left the lovely, green state of Indiana to come home to brown (and still 100 degree) AZ, we visited IU campus where matt's brother, Joe is the Accounting Faculty Chair as well as the beautiful State Park in the quaint nearby town of Nashville.
San Diego/Oceanside
This is a while back, I know, but it's well worth blogging cuz it's one of our family's FAVORITE vacations. Every year we head over to Oceanside in May (and this year we stuck San Diego in there for Spring Break in March) to enjoy the ocean and CA's gorgeous weather. Topping our usual list of favorite things to do there is Knott's Berry Farm, Lego Land and THE BEACH! While the girls spend their time in the water, our digger boy, Ethan spends hours upon hours digging in the sand--he loves it! As evidence of the great time had by all, here are a few pics. I'll have a slide show of a bunch of 'em up in a bit.
